Scars by Sage of Light

Fires, storms, screaming, pain,
It burns through me like flaming rain
memories of this I dare not tell
I could do nothing, twas worse than hell

I sat and watched as people died!
And watched their loved ones too
I watched them suffer, watched them cried
there was nothing I could do

I waited, I watched, and hoped and still pray
and wish that you'd come save the day
I wish you come from your land so far
and wash away my memory scars

My heart can take no more hate
no more death or pain
to just gaze upon the gate
of heavenly glowing rain

to escape from my own thoughts
to escape from evil hell
to grab the key of freedom
to unlock my burning cell

to relieve my self of pain
to travel very far
to release myself from flaming rain
to wash away these scars
