The Ganon Gang hideout...

The leader Ganon has a plot to destroy Kakiriko Village.

Ganon: We will destroy Kakiriko Village, then we will lure Link and Mario. Once we lure them... we will activate our trap. Whos into this!

Everyone in the gang member raised there hands

Ganon: Good! Now get going!

Kakiriko Village...

Everything was all peaceful... It was late at night and was really silent. Until the gang member came. They got off of their horses.

Ganon: Burn down the houses and buildings!

The gang member did as they were told. They burn down the houses, putting oil everywhere.

Ganon: Now we wait for Link and Mario arival...

At the castle....

Mario: Come on Link! Just a bite!

Mario was trying to give him some mushroom which is covered in honey sauce.

Link: I aint gonna eat it!

Rauru: Link theres been an attack at Kakiriko Village! We must be there at once!

Link: Alright. Send the sages to the village. I'll be there in a minute. Gotta tell Zelda that I'm leaving.

Rauru left the room sending every sages to battle.

Link: Hey Mario you wanna join too? We might need a little hand.

Mario: Okie-dokie!

Link and Mario got packed and were heading to the village.

When they got there the sages were waiting for both of them.

Ruto: About time you got here.

Link: Sorry! Mario was... well he packed some food for us to eat. *snicker*

Mario: Hey! can't a guy eat?!

Daurunia: Okay lets get the show on the road.

They headed toward the burning village. They saw nothing but smoke and ashes. Dead people on the ground including children!

Nabooru: Who the hell did this!

Mario: I have a bad feeling about this.

Ganon: Hey over here!

The groups looked at him but ran into the building. They follow him and come up into a wierd room. It was dark and damp with chains all over the place.

Mario: I don't like this place.... I'm gonna go outside and wait...

Link: Come on Mario! Don't be a wuss.

Saria: Yeah Mario come on!

All the sages including Link bribed him to go. Finnaly Mario made his descision

Mario: Okay okay I'll go in. But hold me!

All of them laughed. Link noticed that there were 3 paths.

Link: Guys theres three paths... We'll go seperate ways. Darunia and Saria go to the left. Nabooru and Ruto go to the right. Impa and Rauru guard the door. And me and Mario go straight.

They all agreed and proceeded on.

Nabooru and Ruto's course

They were walking until they saw someone passed by.

Nabooru: Stopped right there!

But he didn't stop. He kept running. Nabooru threw her blade but missed.

Ruto: You missed him!

Nabooru: Yeah I noticed that.

As they both follow them. They noticed something ahead. The person who was running was there.

Gang member: Bye bye!

He fired the crossbow and hit both of them on the shoulders. As they fell back, the gang member pushed a button and they Nabooru and Ruto both fell down into the darkness.

Impa and Rauru

Impa: Hmmm nothing to do here...

Rauru: Yeah so bored...

Just when Rauru turned around, he saw someone right there and ran away.

Rauru: Impa! Someone is there! Lets get him!

Impa: But Link told us to guard the door.

Rauru: Doesn't matter as long we got something to do!

They both chased the person. As they were following them, Rauru and Impa saw many doors. The gang member went into the center door. Impa and Rauru followed.

Impa: Open the door!

Rauru took out his staff and said some magic word. The door broked and there were many arrows fired at them. Impa and Rauru managed to dodged them all. The arrows seized fired until there were two arrows stucked in back of them. The gang members had tricked them! Then they dragged both Impa and Rauru away.

Saria and Daurunia's course...

Daurnia: I'm hungry.. I'm gonna talk to Mario if he has something to eat.

Saria: Well hurry up already.

Daurnia turned back until he saw someone with a mask.

Daurunia: Saria! Someone is there!

Saria turned around and saw him. They both followed him. As they were following them, they were at a dead end.

Daurnia: What the fuck?

Saria: This doesn't seem right...

Saria turned around and saw volley of arrows comming straight at them. Saria cast a shield around herself while Daurnia turned in to a rock. This would'nt last long. The arrows weren't stopping.

Saria: I can't hold it...any longer...

Daurnia: Me neither....

Saria and Daurnia stopped and the arrows hit them on the chest. They fell unconcious with blood oosing out.

Link and Mario's course....

Link: Hmmmm this is a wierd room.

Mario: Yeah looks like a maze...

Link: Yawn*

Mairo: Hey someone is right there!! I'm gonna get him!!

Mario started to chase after him.

Link: Mario wait!!

Mario kept running while Link followed his tracks. Finnaly Link was lost in the maze. He looked around and saw blood on the floor. Link was in a panic. He drew his sword and followed the blooded trail. He followed the trail of blood and came into a room that looks like a cell. He looked up and saw all the sages including Mario! Hanged!! With the hook inside there back that hangs them.

Link: N-Noo!!!!

Ganon: Well done! Link! Well done! Welcome to my game! If you want to save them all... you must beat the game.

Link: Let them go now!!

As he pointed the sword toward Ganon.

Ganon: If you want to save them... you must complete my courses. Are you game?

Link lowered his sword down.

Link: Yes... I'll play your games.

Ganon: Excellent. Just to make sure you don't do anything sneaky...

The gang members ready their bows and arrows aiming at Link.

Ganon: The first game is the fire the targets over there. If you lose... One of your precious sages will fall down to their doom.

Link: What happens if I win?

Ganon: If you win, then you save the sages and move on to the next game. Ready? Set... GO!

Ganon and Link took out their bows and arrows. Link shot the center of the target, so did Ganon. Link missed one of the target, but Ganon shot the other. Link shot the outside rim, and Ganon shot the left center. Link shot another arrow and finnaly hit the center. Ganon shot his arrow and centered it directly. Times was up and Link lost.

Link: NO!!!!!!!

Ganon: Drop one down!

The gang member cut down the rope and Nabooru fell to her doom. Her face plattered on the floor and blood spread everywhere.

Link: You fucking bitch!!!

Link bend down on his knees and cried.

Ganon: Awwww you missed your friend? Stand up or you'll lose the others!

Link stood up but his knees were shaky.

Link: Next game!!!

Ganon: Alright you must defeat Jason! In 20 second!

One of the gang member carrying a sword jumped down. His eyes were red as if it were burning. His skin was tanned and he looks tough.

Ganon: Ready? Set.... GO!!

Link charged at Jason but Jason jumped over him. He was about to stab Link's back but Link blocked it with his shield. Link attacked Jason with his mighty sword but Jason blocked his attack. Jason kicked Link on the chest. Link fell to the floor and he had lost one again.

Ganon: Uh oh! You just lost another sage! This time two!

Rauru and Saria fell down and smashed their face against the floor.

Link: NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ganon: ahahahahahaha your pathethic Link. You think you can beat our game? Come on you can do better then that!

Link looked at him full of rage. His eyes water so much that he can bearly see Ganon.

Link: Lets try that again! This time 4 of them!

Ganon: Tsk tsk tsk. Okay go again Jason.

Jason ready his sword while Link ready his sword. Jason started slashing and Link started to block his attack. Link did a jump attack but Jason dodged it. Jason tried kicking Link but Link blocked it with his hands. Link slashed Jason across the belly. Then Link kicked him and he fell to the floor in defeat.

Ganon: Well done!! Well done! But wait! You defeated him in 22 seconds! This means you lost! So bye bye!!!

Four sages fell down. It was Impa, Daurunia, and Ruto. All was left was Mario.

Link cried and tried to yell out but his tears held him back.

Link: Kill me too!!!! I've had enough of this!!!!

Ganon: Well we gotta go guys! But before you go... You must save your last friend from othis burning rope. Guys! burn the ropes now!

The gang member burned the rope and their wasn't much time before Mario falls down.

Link jumped up and climbed up the ladder. Just as he was at a good angle. Link tucked his hands into his sleeves. Link jumped and and was hanging onto the rope. Link slided down and put the fire down. But the rope couldn't carry too much wieght. Mario nearly fell down half way.

Mario: Leave me behind Link!!

As he cough out blood.

Link: I'm not going to let you go!!!

Link finnaly put the fire out but the rope snapped and Mario fell down hard on the ground. But bearly survived. Link jumped down from the rope and aid Mario.

Link: Mario! Mario!!

Mario: I'm not going to make it.....

Link: Yes you are!! And I'm going to help you!

Link found a cart that can allow Mario to sit on it. Link took the cart but it was too late..... Mario had died.....(Oh shit! I killed Mario damnit!!)

Link couldn't bear it anymore... He fell down and cried as long as he wants...

3 hours later some soldiers from Hyrule come to Kakiriko village. There the found Link laying on the ground still crying. The soilders aid Link and took him outside. Some soilders stayied behind to find more evidence.

After the funeral...

Link cried in his little bed for two days straight. He had failed many people. Who is going to defeat Ganon without all the sages? And Mario... his best friend had died...

Link: Damnit.... I-I can never... forgive myself... I've failed everyone... Hyrule, Zora falls, Goron city, the temples, Mario, and espically Zelda...

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. It was Zelda.

Zelda: Link? Can I go inside?

Link: Come in...

Zelda entered his little tree house. Zelda saw Link sitting on his bed crying. His eyes water so much. HIs sorrow had flowed everywhere.

Zelda: Link... I know how you feel. I've suffered the same fate as you did.

Link: I failed... Everyone! Including Mario... how am I going to tell the princess of Mushroom Kingdom about this?!

His voice filled with anger then sorrow again. He fell back into his hands and cried more.

Zelda: Its okay Link... I'll do what I can to cheer you up...

Link: Nothing is going to cheer me up! Nothing....

Zelda: There is a cure for this you know?

Link: I know there is but, it doesn't exist.

Zelda: What is it?

Link: To see them again.

Link left Zelda and entered Hyrule field. Looking up on the sky and saw a vision. The day he met the sages and the very first time meeting Mario. Yes Mario, the person who is Link's best friend in the whole world. Yes they argue but became friends again. Still where will Link find another friend like him?Link fell asleep on the grassy field of Hyrule. A shadowy person lurked around him and carried Link away.

Two weeks later....

Link finnaly woke up and to find himself in a different place. Link jumped out of bed and check the map. It wasn't Hyrule at all. Link walked outside and saw the most craziest place in the world! Mushroom! Everything mushroom! The house, the people, and the food!

Link: What the hell is this place?

Voice: Hello there!

The person sneaked behind Link and was shocked. Link felt relief that he saw Mario! But he looked more different.

Link: Mario! Your alive!

Luigi: Mario? You know whos Mario?

Link: What? Aren't you Mario?

His voice a little astonished.

Luigi: Wheres Mario! I've been looking for him for years!

He shooked Link hard.

Link looked down on the ground. He had explained everything about the gang, the sages, and Mario.

Luigi: No.... NO!!!!

Luigi grabbed him by the collar.

Luigi: You killed him didn't you!? You let him die!!!!!!

Link: Please... l-let me explain just calm down...

Luigi didn't calm down but pulled Link harder.

Link: Mario did it for all of us!

Luigi calmed down a bit.

Luigi: What?

Link: He sacrificed himself to save me and Hyrule. Without him Hyrule would die.

Luigi couldn't believe it. Mario sacrificed himself to save this strange land?

Luigi: Oh I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you...

Link: Its okay...

Luigi: Oh yeah I didn't introduce myself... My name is Luigi. I'm Mario's younger brother. But I'm taller than him.

Link can see that. He does look almost like Mario. Except he wore green cloths but still wore a blue overall. His cap has the letter L. Link introduced himself as well.

Link: I'm Link. I'm the hero of time and I wield the master sword. I've got the triforce of courage and I live in Hyrule.

Luigi: Hyrule huh? Hmmm... Oh do you want to meet somebody? Her name is Princess Peach. If she heard about Mario's death. She'll flip like hell!

Link: Umm okay.

Link and Luigi took off to the castle were the princess of Mushroom Kingdom resides.
