I got up and threw another knife at his head but he blocked it again. Gannon laughed and charged forwards, swinging his mace at my face. I leapt back and stabbed forward, my blade clanging off his armour. He backed off, summoning a second mace in his other hand. I ran at him and he swung at me with both maces, I flipped backwards and charged again as Gannon struggled to remove the maces from the ground. I jumped up and over him, landing behind his back and slashing the armours bindings. The plate mail fell to the floor, Gannon kicked me back against the wall and by the time I could get up Gannon had removed his maces from the ground.

            I ran at him and he dropped the maces, delivering a lightning fast punch to my face. I fell again and he kicked me in the side. Gannon then summoned a new sword made from pure obsidian and swung it down towards me. I rolled at the last second, running to the wall and grabbing yet another new weapon set. I took a large shield and a katana and charged at him. His blade clashed off my shield and I slashed upwards with my katana, removing his right arm.

            Gannon let out a howl of rage and summoned a huge ball of energy, knocking me into the wall again. He raised his remaining arm and closed his eyes. I looked on in shock as tendrils of power spread to his stump and he grew a new arm.

            “Do you see what holding this power does to me boy? I am invincible, no matter what you do you cannot beat me!!!” he summoned a knife and charged at me, slashing with blinding speed, I jumped back and lunged forwards with my shield, knocking the knife from his hands. “Well link you have learned some new moves since we last fought…maybe a change of scenery will even the odds.” The world swam and I stood alone on Hyrule field.

I looked around for Gannon but couldn’t see him. Then I heard a battle cry and the twang of bowstrings, the sky was suddenly dark as thousands upon thousands of arrows flew towards me. I dropped to my knees and raised the shield above my head, the arrows hit, clanging off my shield and thudding into the ground all around me. I stood when the hail of arrows stopped and looked around me, Gannon stood on the edge of a field of arrows. “Ganondorf are you so afraid of me you use your armies to try and kill me? Your more spineless than I thought.”

I ran at him and he ran to meet me, our blades bouncing off one and other. I slashed and stabbed and every time he blocked. He suddenly stabbed forwards, forcing me onto the defensive and gaining the advantage. I dodged and weaved to avoid his attacks. I rolled around behind him and attempted to slice his back but he jumped forwards and did a spinning slash. I sheathed the sword and drew my bow, firing an arrow at him. He blocked it and ran at me.

I dived to the side and shot at his exposed back but he dropped to his knees and it sailed over his head. I kept this up, dodging and firing but I could never hit him. Soon I was down to my last arrow. I focused my magic on my final arrow and released it, the arrow split into many arrows and Gannon couldn’t dodge all of them. At least five managed to penetrate but Gannon pulled them out. I drew my sword and shield again and charged at Gannon. I knocked his sword out of his hand and stabbed my blade through his heart. I backed off, hoping that this was finally it but he stood and pulled my sword out of himself, healing his wounds as he did so.

Gannon laughed and begun to float through the air, casting powerful magic spells at me. I made a magical barrier around myself and begun to charge all of my magic into a single attack. The magic coursed through my veins and I begun to glow, I drew every single drop of magic inside me. I floated up and dropped my shield, allowing his attacks to hit me so I could draw the magic from them as well. Soon I was so full I felt like I was going to be torn apart, with a scream I arched my back and the energy exploded outwards from me.

Gannon screamed in fear as the energy hit him, I fell to the ground as my attack caused him limitless pain and even stripped him of his magic and turned it against him. Wit a great explosion the attack finally ceased I looked over to see Gannon lying in a quivering lump on the floor, I stood and walked over to my sword and shield and picked them up. I walked over to Gannon and rolled him over so he was face up. “L…Link…how did you do that?” Gannon stared up at me in disbelief.

“That was the gods fury attack, it took me over a year to perfect it” I looked down on him and raised my sword over my head for the final blow. “I even stripped you of the triforce pieces, you’re mortal now Gannon, goodbye.” I drove my sword into his stomach, Gannon screamed as his vital organs ruptured and he slowly begun to bleed to death.

I walked away, the battle was finally over. The triforce pieces were safe inside me. As I walked away I heard Gannon’s last words…

“Thank…you…link…I got…my wish…a…perfect end to…my life” I turned back towards him and he smiled as blue fire enveloped his body.
